Dear colleagues and project partners,
it is my sad duty to inform you that our colleague Sayan Mukherjee passed away.
Sayan was a dear colleague and excellent researcher who contributed much to bioinformatics. In the last three years he started many collaborations and research projects, forming and strengthening important connection within the research community in Leipzig, last but not least also in his function as a board member of the IZBI and as a follow of SECAI.
We will sorely miss him as a colleague, collaborator and friend.
