Bioinformatik Uni Leipzig 		You can travel to Leipzig by plane, train, or car. (Please be aware that parking is very limited in our vicinity.)
The taxi fare from the airport to Härtelstrasse is about 25 Euro, from the central station to Härtelstrasse about 7 Euro.
A shuttle service runs between the airport and Leipzig's Hauptbahnhof (central station) every 30 minutes. (The trip takes about fifteen minutes and costs about 3.50 Euro).

Leipzig's extensive local transport system is run by the Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe:
From the central station:
  • Tram No 16 (direction Lössnig) up to the stop "Rossplatz"
  • Tram No 10 (direction Lössnig) up to the stop "Wilhelm-Leuschner-Platz"
  • Tram No 11 (direction Markkleeberg-Ost) up to the stop "Wilhelm-Leuschner-Platz" or "Hohe Strasse/LVB"
brings you to within walking distance of our institute.
You can walk from the central station to Härtelstrasse in about 25 minutes.
